Great job! So how do we get the leaflets from PP? I would really love to have some as I just got back from AR2007, so I definitely want to get more active now.

Some people have said to me, “Well you grow vegetables just to eat them and they are alive.” My response, “I have not seen other animal species grow other animal species in confined areas just to kill them and wrap their pieces in non-biodegradable containers to sell in energy sucking warehouses.” I usually did not get a response back.

My SO is also not vegan, and it IS hard sometimes. I am lucky in that he stopped buying cheese or asking me to get him cheese when I shopped, so the house is vegan now and he eats vegan when here or taking lunch to work, so it’s just if we go out to eat, and even then it is usually just cheese (or maybe eggs if we go out to breakfast, but we rarely do that…), but then the other day he mentioned something about how he “was bad and got chicken strips and mac n cheese at the Fred Meyer deli” and it just crushed me, because I really thought he had stopped eating meat a long time ago, but apparently he just hides it from me? it makes me sad, but I just have to hope that one day…
